My name is Horst. When the picture of me on the front of the book was taken in Berlin, Germany, in 1938,
I was 18 years old, just out of High School. The picture on the left is a recent snapshot taken during a
visit with our oldest daughter in Louisiana.
This year, 2008, Margo and I have been together for an unbelievably happy 71 years. A Princess and Prince
kind of story.
I have to admit to success in my life, not financially, but in all the other areas, and that does make
me truly rich.
